Ki is the keeper from our Caesar x Mera litter. He is a happy chap, with a calm and easy going nature who loves to learn new tricks with a very waggy tail. Ki has started his show career with several Best Baby Puppy in Group awards and some lovely results at speciality level.

Sept 2022 - RR Club Victoria Speciality - judge Mrs Di Brennan - Ki was 1st place in Baby Puppy Dog and won Best Baby Puppy in Show

Oct 2022 - RR Club (Sydney) - Judge Mrs Anna Lane - Ki was 1st place in Minor Puppy Dog and was Best Opposite Minor Puppy in Show

December 2022 Ki started in Scent Work. He loves it and with continued training he will hopefully go on to competing in Scent Work trials

Ki gained his Australian Championship title with a very nice Best of Breed win on 2 June 2023. He has several large wins, including a Runner Up Best in Group.

Aug 2023 - RR National Show (Brisbane) Judge Ms N Nikolic (Denmark) - Ki was 1st place in Junior Dog and was Best Opposite Junior in Show.

Sept 2023 - RR Club (Sydney) - Judge Mr P Lundstrom (Sweden) - Ki was 2nd place in Junior Dog to his brother Khamsin.

Octo 2023 - RR club (Sydney) Judge Mrs Linda Costa - Ki was 3rd place in Intermediate Dog. Khamsin was 2nd place.

13 Jan 2024 - Ki competed in his first Trick Dog Trial and gained his first pass towards his Trick Dog Starters title. He was a very happy boy and wagged his tail non-stop while doing his tricks.

27 April 2024 - Ki competed in his first Scent Works Trial and gained passes in Novice Exteriors and Novice Interiors.

26 May 2024 - Ki gained passes in Novice Interiors (with a 3rd place from 55 entries) and Novice Vehicles.

23 June 2024 - Ki gained a pass in Novice Vehicles. He now only needs a Novice container pass for his title.

1, 2, 3 July 2024 - Ki competed in the first SprintDog trials held in Australia and gained passes in each trial with enough points for his Novice SprintDog title. He is the first Rhodesian Ridgeback in Australia with a SprintDog title.

November - Ki qualified in SprintDog and now has enough points (250) for the next title, the SPRD, making him the first RR in Australia with this title.

Also, in November he gained two more Novice Scent work passes (Novice Exteriors and Containers) to give him his Novice Scent Works title (SWN). He also gained his first Advance pass in Advance Interiors. We had another go at Trick Dog Starters, but unfortunately his mum was in season and his boy brain meant he forgot how to jump. He did the other 5 tricks really well though.
